Pastor and Mrs. Campbell

Campbell family

Rev. Campbell was born in Presque Isle, Maine in February of 1975. He grew up in the small, neighbouring town of Westfield and lived there until his family moved to Old Town, Maine in 1986. After graduating from Old Town High School in 1993, Rev. Campbell went on to receive a Ministerial Diploma from Faith School of Theology (Charleston, Maine) in 1996 as well as a Bachelor of Theology from Kingsway Christian College (DesMoines, Iowa) in 1998.

Rev. Campbell was married in May of 1998 to Denise (Parks) of Dexter, Maine. A 1995 graduate of Bangor Christian School (Bangor, Maine), Mrs. Campbell also went on to attend Faith School of Theology. In May of 1998 she was named valedictorian of her college class and awarded a Ministerial Diploma. The Campbells also welcomed their son, Ryan Troy, into the world in May of 2003, their daughter Hayley Marie, in June of 2004, and their daughter Kirstyn Dawn was added to the family in February of 2006 and then their latest family edition, Austin Trey was born in August of 2007.

Rev. Campbell moved to New Brunswick the first time in January of 1998 as Senior Pastor of Bethel Pentecostal Assembly in Mill Cove. The Campbells pastored in Mill Cove until returning back to Old Town in June of 2000. For the next year and a half, the Campbells spent weekends traveling and preaching in various churches throughout Maine and New Brunswick. They were also both employed by Bangor Counselling Center (Bangor, Maine) and each worked to receive a Bachelor of Theocentric Psychology from Cornerstone Theological University out of Jacksonville, Florida. Rev. and Mrs. Campbell moved back to New Brunswick on November 30 of 2001 to accept the Senior Pastorate of Calvary Pentecostal Church.

The Campbell’s proclaim that they have been pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the town’s people. They are very excited about continuing on with the work of the Lord and seeing what God is going to do, not only at Calvary Pentecostal Church, but also in the town of Sussex and the surrounding area as a whole.

Their prayer is to see the entire town of Sussex come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor and Mrs. McLean

McLean family

Pastor Dave was born in Sussex Hospital the beautiful day of August 7th, 1978. He lived on Erb Settlement road until he and his family moved into the town of Sussex in 1996. After graduating from Sussex Regional High School in 1996 he started a full-time position at Prestige Homes, first in the welding shop, then on to the roofing crew where he spent several years.

Around the age of 10 years old at Junior Youth Camp in Harvey, NB, on a dirt floor he was called of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and although he backslid for a few years, in 2001 he rededicated his life to Christ and told God that if there was any way He could still use him that he was sold out for His service. Immediately feeling the tug on his heart he went to Campus Days at Faith School of Theology in Charleston, Maine and in the spring of 2005 graduated from the same school with a Ministerial Diploma.

Pastor Dave was married in 2003 to Julie (Brochu) of Thetford Mines, Quebec who had already received her Ministerial Diploma from Faith School and was going in to her second year on staff there.

After Pastor Dave’s graduation they went on staff at Faith Christian Church in Bellows Falls, Vermont as Youth Pastor and Choir Director. They served there for almost two years leading the choir, worship, youth, a missions trip to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and having their first child November 12, 2005, Mia Joy, when they again felt the tug in their hearts that it was time to go.

In March of 2007 they moved back to Sussex, NB. Julie started a job in Walmart Photo Lab, and David started working with Shawn McLean Construction. Shortly after they got here they were asked if they would be the worship leaders for an allotted time. Around the beginning of September 2007 they were brought on full-time staff here at Calvary Pentecostal Church where they presently are the Lead Pastors of IGNITE Youth Ministries, leading in worship and everything else they can do for His Kingdom!.

They now have a second daughter, named Bailey Anne (Bam Bam) who was born February 7th, 2008, and a son, named David Joseph Cole (Davey) who was born August 6th, 2009. They are excited about what God is doing in their growing family. But even greater than that is the excitement in their hearts for what they know God is doing in the lives and hearts of the people in this church, community and surrounding areas. "For such a time as this" we are called.
